We tend to worry a lot as soon as we see things not lining up the way we think they should be. Sometimes it's our finances, or our health, or perhaps, it's that thing we've been asking God for, for a long time. At times It's difficult to have faith, but we have to learn constant trust in God's promise and ability to take care of our needs. If something you need or want is not in your life as yet, talk to God about it in faith and trust.
"Take the birds for example:; they do not plant nor reap, but they are lovingly fed. So, don't you think God will take care of you, who are more valuable than they are?" Matthew 6: 26
Jesus knew that when he left this earth to return to Heaven that we would be troubled by all sorts of fiery darts from the devil and his hosts. He knew the evil forces would burden us with things such as worry, doubt, depression, poverty and illness, which would threaten to steal our minds away from God. So, Jesus left us HIS peace, PERFECT peace - the kind of peace that this world cannot offer.
"I'm leaving peace with you, in fact, not any old peace, but MY peace." John 14: 27
There's a very popular saying: "The only constant in life is change." We sometimes cannot depend on the things in our lives to be available when we need them the most, and, sometimes, those we thought we could depend on let us down. But, we can always depend on the word of God. God's word is true and dependable, all of the time.
"The grass will wither, the flower will wilt, but God's words are everlasting" Isaiah 40: 8
